SEO Is A Bitch So I Run Off To Legoland To Blow Off Steam!

Yup, I said it, SEO is a bitch.  A big one at that!

It seems there’s only so much in your control and then it’s all up to the search engine Gods to rank you or not.

March has been a frustrating month for me because even with the increased amount of posts I write per week, the traffic doesn’t seem to reflect my increased efforts.

I guess I will see the effects of my increased writing more down the road because that’s how it works with blogging and I think so many people quit because it’s hard to know if you’re doing well or not when your traffic doesn’t rise with the large amount of time and effort you put into writing.

 

SUCCESS WILL COME

Even though I hear so many successful bloggers before me tell me this very same thing over and over again, I still have days like these where it’s still frustrating not seeing what you want to see on Google Analytics.

I guess I’m only human and these emotions will run through me regardless what I know is fact!

People who are making full time income from their blogs say that the time it takes for your blog to have increasing traffic that will make you consistent money is about 9 months to a year.

Some even take a year and a half.

But are you willing to blog 3 or 4 times a week consistently for a whole year to finally see that traffic come in and start finally seeing money come in from your blog?

That’s a HELL YES for me!

I will not quit.

I will keep pushing forward with great content, great keywords, and use everything I have learned from Wealthy Affiliate to keep pursuing this dream so I can live my dream out in reality.

I want this badly.  I know that if I want it bad enough, I will do whatever it takes to keep it moving forward.

I know that if I keep going I will see results soon.  I’ve been building this site for six months now and six more months will really give me a better idea of what’s to come.

At one year, I should be able to see much better traffic and results of all the posts I’ve written.

This business is not for everyone, that’s for sure.

Only the strongest will survive, and one of those that survives will be me.

IT’S OKAY TO BLOW OFF STEAM!

I’m really glad I wrote this post and write about the frustrations I’ve been feeling.  I needed to get it out of my system so I can now go back to concentrating on what’s important: writing awesome content!

I think this is crucial no matter what endeavors you pursue in your life.

If you have negative thoughts or feeling down, it’s hard to move forward and be productive with all this weight on your shoulders.

To get rid of it, you can write about it like I’ve done, or you can just do something completely different that makes you happy so you can feel happy instead of letting the gloom weigh you down.

 

I did just that last week, I went to Legoland California with my family!

It’s nice to just forget about it and just enjoy time with your family.  It’s fun to just play and not be worrying all the time.

That’s the problem with adults, right?  Always worrying.

We need to be a kid again, and just play!

Having this little getaway made it easier to come back and concentrate on what’s important at hand, keep writing amazing content!

It was a short road trip with an itinerary like this:

• 6 hour drive the first day and just visited family when we arrived in California.
• Spent 2 whole days at Legoland – we were able to do everything in the park except the water section since it wasn’t that hot.
• Last day, we went out for breakfast and then visited the ocean before we drove back home.

Every night, after Legoland, we had a nice dinner.  First night was sushi and second night was at a seafood restaurant.

It was tiring doing Legoland since I usually just sit all day to blog, but getting out to walk around all day and seeing so many cool things was fun.

Being with my family has also been fun, these quality times with my family is really priceless.  Our girls are growing up, almost 8 and 6 year olds, and soon they won’t want to hang out with their parents anymore.

So glad we were able to take them to Legoland, it was the first time for all of us!  Lol  So that was kind of neat too. 🙂

Okay, now that my bitching is done, I’m going to move forward and continue my journey.  If you’ve been following along with me, I so appreciate it and thanks for listening!

It’s not everyday I want to bitch because, really, I’m as blessed as they come as far as stay at home moms go.  I’m very lucky and grateful with all I have.

I hope you will continue with me on my journey as I will continue to show you things I’ve learn along the way and will hopefully one day report amazing results.

I really have no idea how many will read this post but if this ever reaches another who was feeling down about their blog, I hope this has given them a glimmer of hope and encouragement to blow off steam so they can also keep going on their journey.

I know this online business works.  I’ve seen it happen to many people, just check out all these success stories.
