There are two types of positions you can apply to work on this website.

You can be a Household Hero, this means that you will do grocery shopping for families, seniors, whoever orders and help people out every day.

You are going to have the flexibility to meet your needs, they give you the option to earn while balancing work and life.

Also, you can either be your own boss or choose a career path with Instacart as an employer, it will be completely your choice.

If you want to be your own boss, like I mentioned before, there are two positions that you can consider and apply for at Instacart:

 

Full-Service Shopper:

For this position, you just have to shop and deliver orders to other people and be one of their contractors.

Some basic requirements and necessities for this position are:

2. Car: Access to a car is required for this option, so you can deliver groceries fast and not have any trouble carrying them.
3. Flexibility: Choose hours that work for you, you will only be working on a schedule that you chose and you want to work on.

 

In-Store Shopper:

For this position, you will only have to do shopping.

1. Part-Time: You will only be a part-time employee in this position.
2. Vehicle: No vehicle is required for this position as you will not be delivering food.
3. Flexible Schedule: As you are a part-time employee, you will also have the freedom for some flexibility in your schedule.

You will be able to start earning quickly and get paid weekly, there are a few basic requirements to start working for Instacart:

• Age: Minimum age requirement of 18.
• Location: Be eligible to work in the United States.

Reviews On Instacart

If you go to Indeed, which is a very popular and legit review site, you will be able to see that they have a 2.7 out of 5 rating and more than 413 reviews.  

2.7 is very average so this is not the best working place but you do have an opportunity here to make some money on the side.

 

 

 

 

And on this other website Glassdoor, which is another review site, they also mention that you can earn about $11-$18 per hour, which is a very decent amount for part-time work.

I found this other website called Ridester, which claims that Instacart actually reported that their shoppers can make up to $25 per hour, as you are working for yourself, it really will depend on how much you can work and how many orders you actually get to deliver.

If you do a really good job and get a really good rating you will be able to earn more, as customers will choose you as their shopper more often.

Ridester says that it is rather difficult to hit that $25 per hour mark but on average you will be making $7-$20 per hour and Instacart does not guarantee any amount like some other delivering services may offer.
