Holy Smokes! That’s all I can say after looking into Survey Junkie.
Initially I thought this survey site could be legit because of it being well known, but man, I can’t say it is, I have to say that Survey Junkie is a scam!
I always want to bring the truth to my readers and I hope the right people will read this before they spend their valuable time on this wasteful survey site.
I will bring you real testimonials below to let you see how this is a big scam and that you are just going to waste your time for nothing.

Survey Junkie is not a survey site itself, it is not a marketing or research company. All it does is collect your email and connect you with third party surveys.
They do this so they can build a huge email list, and why they want to do this? More on this later.
At Survey Junkie, you earn points for filling out surveys and even filling out your profile earns you an easy 25 points.
When you’ve earned 1000 points, you can redeem it for $10 cash which is paid through PayPal or you can redeem it for a $10 gift card.
You can pretty much earn your first $10 easily and may even cash out, but anything after that, you’re in for a ride!
This survey site has been around since early 2000’s and now has over 5,000,000 people signed up.
WHY SURVEY JUNKIE IS A SCAM
Just because something that has been around a long time, it doesn’t mean they are legitimate.
Many other review sites are calling this one a legit program, but when they don’t pay you and spam you like crazy, how is this legit?
All I see is a bunch of complaints from real users about how they are not getting paid and having their accounts shut down for no real reason.
Does this sound legitimate to you?
For this reason, I have to say that Survey Junkie is a scam!
I feel like I’m the first one to say Survey Junkie is a scam because so many other review sites are saying this is the opposite and that drives me up the walls!
Here Are The Biggest Reasons Why Survey Junkie Is A Scam:
- You Don’t Quality For Surveys You Already Spent Lots of Time On – You could be 90% into the survey and then all of a sudden the survey says that you don’t quality. Some survey even reject on location which is odd since they would already have that info in members’ profile! This is a pure waste of time for anyone having to spend so much time for nothing. Oh you may earn 3 points (equals to 3 pennies for your 30 minutes)!
- Time It Takes To Fill Out Survey Is A Lie – Some surveys would say it is 15 minutes long but in fact, it goes well over 15 minutes and ends being more like 30 minutes, which is double the time!
- Sudden Suspension of Accounts – This one takes the cake and often happens when you are trying to redeem your points for a payout to your PayPal account. Like I said, you may be lucky to get one payment out of them but you won’t get more after that.
- Redemption Function Disabled – What the heck?! They may not suspend your account but they will just conveniently disable your ability to redeem your points and get your payout. This is not right and this site should be taken down.
- Your Email Addresses Are Spammed & Sold – Remember I told you they are building a huge email list earlier? Well, they want to do this so they can send you hundreds of emails as well as sell your email addresses to many more survey spammers.
- Customer Support Crooks – Customer support there is no help either because members would email them about their problems and they’re response is either “you violated the terms” (convenient), “there’s already another email using that PayPal” (not true), or “closed your account because you have duplicate accounts” (even when you clearly only have one account). One even asked for a member’s PayPal password!!!
- You Don’t Qualify As You Reach Closer To Next Payout – Many survey sites do this and this is why a lot of them are not good to use. As you approach closer to your payout limit, they limit the amount of surveys you get a week so you will take even longer to get to your payout.

There are actually a lot more complaints on those sites but you get the gist I hope and that you can see how awful this survey site is.
I also hope you will make the right decision for yourself and not join Survey Junkie!
You shouldn’t waste anymore time on survey sites as most of them are not good. If you insist, Swagbucks is a better bet.
Both of those are legitimate but also a waste of time as they are not the right path if you want to make a substantial amount of money online.

Total scam. Most surveys get me to waste time getting to just shy of completion before telling me I am not qualified or the survey site goes offline or tells me the survey is no longer available.
There is no meaningful customer support whatsoever.
In the legal community we call this wage theft and unfair and deceptive business conduct.
Maybe time for a class action and a referral to US Department of Labor and FTC.

What a joke. You do 7/8 of the survey totaling 15 mins and they tell you that you don’t qualify. Total scam. Spent 3 of my Sunday hours hoping this would be a way to make a few bucks. I think I made .03/hour.
