So it’s good to knock your topic down two levels like that to get something a little more specific but not too narrow.

The next thing you’ll need is a website. Do I hear groans?
In this day and age, the best way to make money online is with a website, without a doubt, so you must have that online presence, it’s your home and foundation of your business.
A website is much easier to build these days than you think! You will not need to know how to code and it’s all about clicking buttons and typing.
If you can navigate the internet, you can create a website, especially the place I’ll tell you about later on, you’ll be able to have your website up and live on the internet in less than a minute!
After you create your website, you’ll also learn how to build it and it’s really not that hard to learn.
It will be something new to challenge yourself on but it’s not one that’s so hard and anyone can learn how to do this, especially with the lessons I tell you about which are very in-depth and step-by-step.
WHAT WILL YOU OFFER?
What you will be offering on your website is basically tips and value-add information for the hobby of your choice so that others can learn about it too.
You will tell them all sorts of things about how to swing that golf stick (haha… I’m not a golfer you can tell!), I mean golf club, or what shoes are the best to wear on the green.
You can offer tips on what is golf etiquette while at a golf club or your experiences with different situations while playing in clubs.
Along with telling others how to do things, you can also recommend products or tools that will help them with that task or project.
Whatever our hobby is, it’s important you’ll be able to recommend things, either products, books, or services, this will come into play in the next section.
Let’s say you’re an avid juicer and love juicing, you will be able to recommend recipe books, juicer equipment, etc that you can show people how to use or what to do with them in your how-to instructions.
The most important part of this section is being able to help people and provide value. What you can recommend to people is secondary, first and foremost is helping others.
If you do provide value, you build trust with and become an authority voice to your readers who will become your followers and in time they will become customers or clients!

Once you join these affiliate programs and get approved, you will be able to get affiliate links to put on your website which links to an affiliate product or page on their site.
This tracks your readers going from your site to theirs so when they buy the product or service, you’ll earn a commission.
A very popular affiliate program is called Amazon Associates from the mega shopping site Amazon.com, joining a program like that offers you many products to promote and to choose from.
You can see now how your website can make money from sharing knowledge of what you know about your hobby and then recommending products or services that will help your audience do what you’re trying to show them to do.
The more you can share about your hobby, the more chances of you making money from your website. It’s just a simple math game.
