Checking out Amazon Secrets and excited at the possibility of making 6 figures online but is Amazon Secrets a scam system that’s just going to steal thousands of dollars?

The two owners Mike and Matthew have been in the Amazon business for a bit now and are real people who have been doing this business successfully.

They have put together this program called Amazon Secrets to teach others how to sell on Amazon as a FBA merchant.

 

 

This means that you’ll be a brand on Amazon selling physical products and the FBA means “fulfilled by Amazon” which means you can send your products directly to Amazon and they will take care of fulfilling the orders and take over the customer service.

Therefore, the business they are teaching you is selling physical products on Amazon and you’re biggest job will be finding the products you want to sell, sourcing the products from China, and then coordinating the the manufacturer to ship the products to Amazon.

In addition, you’ll need to learn how to brand these products you source and how to get your product on the first page of Amazon’s results when someone searches your product, which is actually the most important part.

You can have a product which huge profit margins but if no one is buying it, then you won’t be profiting from those nice margins.

Mike and Matt seem to have the answers to all the questions you may have about this business and while they may have succeeded themselves, are they good teachers?

Or will Amazon Secrets be another dud like these other Amazon programs, The Kindle Sniper and The AZ Code, or even an outright scam like Amazon Cash Websites.

 

 

HOW AMAZON SECRETS WORKS

One of the big attraction to this Amazon Secrets, I feel anyway, is the fact that you’ll be mentored by coaches and they have an inner circle group that you can join on Facebook to get extra help.

They claim that all the coaches have at least a 6 figure business but I’ve heard of this before and all I ever see is that these are just sales rep trying to get you to upgrade on things so not sure if this will be true for this program.

Anyway, you will be taught all the steps that they have gone through to build this successful business and every Monday they hold a webinar going over these steps.

They even provide you with tools that will help you find products as well as their sales funnel that helps you market your products.

 

But Will This Amazon Secrets Program Work For You?

It depends.  Before you dive into their program, I want you think about the following aspect of such a business.

Although I’ve never sold any products on Amazon before, I have had two e-commerce stores of my own and have sold physical products with my own shops.

I can tell you that it’s not going to be as easy as you may think and it will require a lot of start up costs especially when you’re talking about such a big platform as Amazon.

I believe that finding what products to sell is the least of your problems, it’s really working with China suppliers that will be hard part as you will likely want to take a trip out there to actually talk to the manufacturers and don’t just go by Aliexpress, or some other supplier online.

When you’re dealing with thousands of dollars in inventory, it’s hard to make such a purchase when you don’t know the real quality of such a product.

Sure some products don’t make a huge difference if it’s made in China or not, but some other products it’s really obvious if the quality is not there and that’s what you will need to check to ensure you’re selling a quality product on Amazon.

At the end of the day, it’s those reviews that will get you sales so if your product is not of high quality, your sales will tank.

There is also the private labeling part and the bar codes you need to buy, all at very high costs.  I’ve looked into this before when making my own products.

In the end, I opted for a different business model instead and ended up closing my shops.  Actually one of them is still online but I will probably close it down by end of this year.

I find the Amazon business a very risky one as you’re going to have to put a lot of money into it.

A lot of these gurus who show their results never show all their costs or real profit margins to see how much they really profit.

I can guarantee you that you will also need a lot of money in the marketing department as that is how you’ll get your product on the first page of the Amazon results but you’ll need to pay to play with promotions on Amazon.

I mean, just take a look at Amazon Secrets’s application form, it asks how much money you have available to invest in this business and it starts at $3K – $5K.

This just shows you how much you’ll need at the very least to go into this business, probably double or triple that if you really want to succeed.

Therefore, this Amazon Secrets is too rich for my blood but you can certainly go for it now that you have more information about how this business works.

 

Red Flags of Amazon Secrets

Here I just want to caution you on the marking tactics they are using to lure you in and see what red flags there are to determine if Amazon Secrets is really that great and trustworthy.

#1) Domain Name Doesn’t Match

On the top of the sales video, there’s a big “amazonsecrets.net” title but the real domain is called realestatesecrets.clickfunnels.com so which is it?

Are they Amazon gurus or are they real estate gurus??

 

#2) Testimonies Call This By Another Name

They have a few testimonies on their sales page but most of them didn’t call this “Amazon Secrets” but “Online Secrets” which makes me think this was marketed under a different name before.

So which is it again, is this program really for the Amazon Business or is it for another online business they were marketing before?

Can we even trust any of these testimonies if they are not talking about Amazon Secrets?

 

#3) Real Costs Are Not Revealed

It really doesn’t matter how much sales you’re driving if you’re taking a loss at the end of the day, so without seeing the full numbers, it’s hard to determine if this business is right for you.

It’s not just about finding a product at $1 and selling it at $20, there are many other moving parts in this business that require money.

If you’re private labeling, you’ll need to spend money on packaging and branding that product which all costs money.

How about all that shipping costs from China to Amazon?  Will these costs be revealed at some point?

Without knowing how much they actually net, we don’t really know if Matt and Mike are real gurus.

 

 

IS AMAZON SECRETS A SCAM?

No, I don’t think Amazon Secrets is a scam because I do believe they are going to teach you what they know about the Amazon FBA business and they seem genuine in their approach.

Although, I don’t agree on some of their marketing tactics which is highly not necessary if you have a genuine product/program so I have my reservations about this based on the red flags I pointed out.

This is a totally legitimate business anyone can go into, I just don’t think it’s for everyone.  I may try it myself one of these days but that won’t be until I have enough play money.

For now, I’m using a different business model that still takes advantage of Amazon (plus many other retailers) but in a different way to make money online and it’s been giving me a 4 digit monthly online income without me spending thousands of dollars to start this online business or even spending a dime on marketing.

Amazon Secrets will be good for those who already have enough money to invest in such a venture but the risk is still high because you’ll need that marketing factor that will catapult you into the black (making profit).

Some of their members have really built successful Amazon businesses with it but there are also members I’ve read who lost over $18K, so it’s definitely not for everyone.

Also, their disclaimers says:

Typically / on average most people will not recoup their investment with these strategies.

I have to conclude that I do not recommend Amazon Secrets.
