The first time I started blogging it was 2011 and that first time I tried it on my own and it did not work out very well.

Actually, I have been making money with my blog since the very beginning because I did a lot of hustling on social media but if you really want to bring free traffic on your blog, you need to attract visitors from search engines and for that you need to know how to rank and post properly.

1) You Need To Treat Your Blog Like A Business

A lot of people think about blogging, they think it is for a hobby or it is just for fun, but really it is so much more.

Potentially, blogging can actually bring you a lot of money.

If you have been researching a while about blogging or a blogger, you will see that tons of people are actually making a really high income from it.

There are a few things that you need to consider to start treating your blog like a business:

1. Branding: You need to make sure that you are branding your blog the right way, all your social media accounts need to be linked on your blog and it needs to branded with the same look and logo. Also, it has to look professional.
2. Bank Account: You need to be able to track your expenses and income from your blog, so it is better if you create a separate bank account for your blog and not mix it with your personal finances.
3. Make It A LLC: This step is definitely not necessary, but you could make your blog a Limited Liability Company, it is not time-consuming or expensive to do it but it will add an extra layer of protection to you and your personal assets.  

But there is definitely a strategy to it, so first of all, you definitely need to treat it like a business, if you give it enough time and take it really seriously, it will start working out for you, as it did with me.

 

 

2) Focus On A Niche

You cannot just blog about anything, if you want to have a blog for fun then you can do that, you can write about whatever you want, but you are not going to make money from it.

If you want to blog for money, you need to pick a niche, which is basically a specific topic that you are passionate about and one you are going to focus on, in your blog.

When you pick a niche you need to pick something that you will be able to make money with and something that you will be able to work on for a long time.

Also, it is always easier to choose something that you really like because then even researching on that topic will be a lot easier. 

I can give you two such examples of narrow niches so you can get a better idea: 

1. Cooking: If you are a cook or you like cooking, either you can do recipes or baking, this could be individual niches or sub-niches.
2. Pets: If you love pets there could be your niche, such as people have done grooming niches, pet-stroller niches, etc. Also, you can narrow down your niche by choosing a specific type of pet, such as dogs or cats. 

These are some examples of great individual niches to focus on in the very beginning. Focusing on a niche is very important.

 

 

 

 

So if you can narrow it down and I am not telling you to just stay narrow you just need to start by being narrow and focused on a specific topic. And if you do that you will be able to focus on your content better for your audience and this is why you want that narrowed niche.

Once your blog starts getting more authority on the internet, you can expand on your sub-niches on your blog. 

 

 

3) Blog With A Training Platform
